Start simple.

Start simple today. Make it your goal to have a serving of fruit or vegetables with every meal - breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Write it in your calendar, if you think that would help you stay on track. This will help you create the momentum you need to make other healthy choices today as well!   1. I'm eating an apple at 4pm because I leave for home in 30 minutes. It's while I'm fixing dinner that I tend to graze the most - so I'm trying not to go home hungry! After an injury two months ago, I started putting on weight and I'm trying to turn that around without the ability to do much exercise. So eating right is my only option! But when I eat better, everyone in my house tends to do so as well. And I like that my kids see me eating right - hopefully this will imprint on them! Glad to see you blogging...keep it up!

  2. You rock, Adelle! Kudos to you for thinking ahead and having a little healthy snack before you get super hungry. Very intuitive of you to know your times of weakness and want to model healthy choices for your fam. Keep it up, mama!
